The item came in perfect unused condition. I use this to make a perfectly bumped bang daily. I am not good with doing that with the curling iron; however, this does the trick . Super quick warm & and style in under 2 minutes.

I used to have this in reg large size & loved it but after several years it died. Tried to buy another one just like it but they are out of stock so bought this smaller one. It does the job but takes forever since so small. Takes me twice as long. Would be nice if traveling & needed a smaller one to fit in your suitcase. But honestly the regular size one isnt that much bigger & would fit in my suitcase. May return. Still looking for a larger one.

I got this to use instead of my flat iron. I have used it each time I washed my hair. I do not use it to dry my hair only to straighten it. I have to use it more to straighten it then I do my flat iron, but I like it. Its heavy in the brush area, but the brush area needs to be deeper, so that the brissels can go further into the hair. I have thick hair and it needs longer brissels. Otherwise it works great and I really like it.

I bought this to replace my rotating brush InStyler ,which cracked). And was so surprised that I like this better.

So easy to use and quick. I now have 1 for home and 1 for travel. No damage to my hair which is thick, medium texture and frizzy. It gets my hair smooth and manageable but not flat!

    Highly recommend.

I got a shorter haircut (from waist-length to shoulder-blade length) and blow drying was not producing the results I wanted – I wanted straighter ends. But I also did NOT wanted to flat iron. That is when I decided to try this device.

The results are a cross between blow-drying and using a flat iron. I get straight ends and have also through trial and error figured out how to get volume at the roots, and a gentle flick in my bangs.

More body than with flat ironing. The result looks more natural than ‘styled’. Which I like for everyday wear. Styling time is half as much as with styling by blow-drying. I blast dry first with a hairdryer and then straighten with this device. I use a good heat protectant before I start drying. I have color-treated, medium-coarse, and wavy-curly hair. I generally use 330 – 390 degrees. The unit goes up to 450. It does not snag my hair. And the cool touch bristles are so convenient, so you can get closer to the roots.

Heat-protective gloves will be a good investment because the hair gets quite hot during the process. So to get good straightening it will be useful to hold the hair taut while running the unit through. When the hair gets hot I drop it after the first two passes and just comb it as I do with a hairbrush. This works for me because I like the less-ironed look. But if you want more straightening and also more hair than me, then gloves would be good.

I have read that the black-colored unit has a smooth finish, and thus slips. But the white-colored unit has a matt finish and is thus stable in my hands.

I’m very pleased with this purchase.
